Our Vision
Founded and managed by a family team of performers, producers, and music enthusiasts, 4Q Arts Factory is your haven for musical exploration. The team, which you can meet here, has always been closely connected to music – from listening and arranging to managing events, performing on stage, producing, and teaching.
The studio, initially created for personal use, organically evolved and is now open to the public. We take pride in sharing our exceptional workspace, cutting-edge equipment, skills, and knowledge to support artists in creating, capturing, and finding inspiration.
From professional bands and artists gearing up for tours to aspiring individuals recording their inaugural song, we are dedicated to offering creative workspaces and accessible services at every stage of your artistic journey.
Nestled in a historical building dating back to 1898, formerly owned by the manufacturing firm Messenger & Co., 4Q Arts Factory has undergone recent renovations to offer a welcoming and imaginative space for our clients.
Our vision is to produce exceptional music and video in this ex-factory, transforming its slightly dingey recent history into a hub of creative excellence.
With deep roots in the local community spanning generations, the 4Q team is dedicated to providing a well-equipped and accessible creative space for both the local community and artists.
CREATE
Designed to empower artists and bands, our studio is a creative haven for crafting extraordinary music and art. With inspiring workspaces, an extensive selection of rental equipment (including instruments, PAs, and recording gear), and a suite of support services, we are dedicated to assisting you in bringing your creative vision to life.
CAPTURE
Whether you're looking for solo vocal demo recordings, full EP production for your band, live event streaming, promo videos, or social media content creation, our range of services is designed to CAPTURE your audio and video needs.

At our music studio, we provide personalised one-on-one tuition, engaging creative workshops, and vibrant open mic nights in partnership with our sister company, Elemantra Music.

Our spaces, equipment, people, experience, knowledge and industry links allow us to provide artists a portfolio of services that allow them to create, capture and inspire through music and other art forms.
Whether you need one mic tomorrow, a place for you to practice or produce without waking the neighbours, content to boost your online presence or a place to teach and inspire we've worked with bands, singers, teachers, solo performers, DJs, dance groups, local authorities, professional performers and more.
We love getting to know our client's artwork and often provide multiple services over time, for example providing a 5-piece band with weekly rehearsal space, a monthly recording/filming session to provide content and recording and mixing their first EP.
